Adios 2008, Holla 2009!

In few hours we are going to leave 2-0-0-8, the year I probably won’t forget for many tough things happened during the year. The year that I’m learning again all the things I thought I knew.

I also learned that change is good. No matter how painful & challenging it is to leave the comfort zone, we do need this wind of change in life 🙂

Don Henley-the heart of the matter

So here I am, packing my stuffs, preparing to move to the new ‘kos-kosan‘ tomorrow, on the 1st day of 2009. Kinda start over and refresh my life at the perfect timing 🙂  Since I don’t want to overload the suitcase & boxes with things I’m not quite sure will be needed, I will bring only important and useful stuffs and leave the old & not really useful ones behind.

Entering the new year I should do the same thing to myself: make sure I don’t carry way too much of the past with me. Let me cherish the memories by keeping it in my heart and of course: moving on.

End of Year: 'Expecting' the Best :)

This weekend I went to my uncle’s home gathered with grandma to celebrate Dongzhi. My Grandma cooked tons of food and yi for us.

Yesterday (21/12) was also bday of sister Bee, a new mom to be. We just found out she’s been expecting for 3 sweeks, which means I will welcome 2 babies in 2009 coz my sister Deny is also expecting. 2009 will be a busy year for my mom. Happy Mother’s day, God bless all moms & moms-to-be 🙂

2Calls-me-Lucky

Yesterday, at the office when I was about to go back home my handsome, 20-something eligible bachelor Japanese ex-boss called me:

K-San: I want to invite you the grand opening of our restaurant on this next monday, but if you can’t make it then plz let me know then I will arrange another day and you can eat there for free.

Me: for free?

K- San: Of coz, this is to thank you for helping me to find tablewares we need for the restaurant. It was a big help for me, make sure when you can come, ok!

I shouldn’t say no to handsome ex-boss free food! :p

At night my friend called:

D: Sorry I haven’t called you because I was so busy to prepare my wedding. I want to share some profit from tablewares that your ex boss bought from me.

Me: you mean like commission? really, you don’t have to

D: yup, that is a must and you should consider to take this business more seriously, I hope you will help me again next time

Yipeee again 🙂

After months, I even have forgotten what has happened between them. Must be my lucky day! 🙂 rezeki emang ga kemana yak! 😀

Long Weekend

Saturday (6/12): from bitter to sweet

Went to the bank to do something and then went to manggoduo to check the notebook (again). It was the 2nd time I must go back to the store after this case.  Great! 😦

At night I met the girls. Evelyn picked me up and we met Ratna in Jakarta theater. Seems like Ratna thought about to have burger in BK, but we crave for better food and I was so enough of burger these few days since my boss always came up at lunch time and got us this big mac time. We decided to eat at Chili’s which also had burger so she could have her burger and we could have something else. Good food and great companion, these girls really made my day

Sunday (7/10): lazy day

Just stay at the boarding house, go to the traditional market with aunt Hoei Hoei and bought some vegetables & fruits. The price is really friendly there. I even met some kepo but funny uncles & aunts, thing you might not find in the modern market :)Aunt Hoei Hoei managed to buy lot of stuff there. She cooked and of course I was there to help her to eat :p I did nothing special, just took a long nap and then woke up to finish one of three books I bought few days ago when there was a sale at gramed-book store.

Monday (8/10): Public Holiday

Just stay at the boarding house again, spending the day by cleaning the room, washing tons of my clothes, browsing for some jobs on the internet and watching Ugly-Betty and HIMYM season 4, episodes 5&6, the latest episodes I could get, can’t wait for the next episodes! Thanks to YZ, now I’m addicted to HIMYM 😀

At night cousin aYen came and told me about new better place she found near her campus, dare to move? let’s see 🙂
